SURVEY WORK IN YOUR MASTEN COMMON COUNCIL DISTRICT NEIGHBORHOOD

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The Buffalo Sewer Authority (BSA) hired Xylem to survey sites for proposed projects in the Selected Alternative for BSA’s Long Term Control Plan. Buffalo has a combined sewer system with stormwater and wastewater carried in the same pipes to the Bird Island Treatment Facility.
During some wet weather events these sewers are designed to overflow to Buffalo’s waterways. BSA through the Long-Term Control Plan is working to limit the number and volume of these overflows. The proposed projects in your neighborhood are part of that work.
Xylem has partnered with KHEOPS to take measurements to create detailed maps of sites for these projects.
