Buffalo Sewer Authority Rates and Fees Effective July 1, 2026

Sewer Rent Based on Assessed Value of Real Property

All real property within the City of Buffalo will be charged $1.34 per $1,000 of assessed valuation.

Sewer Rent Based on Water Use

Quarterly Meter Accounts will be charged $54.41 for the first four thousand (4,000) cubic feet of water used per quarter. Any additional water used will be charged $12.49 per thousand cubic feet.

Monthly Metered Accounts will be charged $18.14 for the first one thousand (1,000) cubic feet of water used per month. Any additional water used will be charged $12.49 per thousand cubic feet.

Flat Rate Accounts will be charged according to Exhibit A of the 2026-2027 Final Schedule of Sewer Rents and Other Charges.

Drainage Connection Fee A Drainage Connection Service Charge will be applied to all Metered and Flat Rate Accounts. Most residential customers will be charged $6.76 per month.
