Louisiana St Sewer Modifications and CSO-064 Inline Storage (ILS)
WHY IS BUFFALO SEWER DOING THIS PROJECT?
Buffalo Sewer is working to reduce combined sewer overflows (CSOs) impacting surface waters. This project will replace undersized sewer pipes with larger sewer pipes to increase storage volume, which will help to reduce overflows to the Buffalo River.
WILL THIS PROJECT IMPACT THE PLANNED LOUISIANA STREET STREETSCAPE AND BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT?
Buffalo Sewer has been in communication with the City of Buffalo Department of Public Works regarding project schedules. Construction of this sewer project will be completed before construction starts for the streetscape improvements and bridge replacement.
